Welcome to my city council campaign page! I’m excited to share my vision for our community and the positive changes we can achieve together.

I’m Aujanae Bennett, a lifelong resident of Wichita’s District 1. My roots run deep in this community.  My parents bought our family home in 1968, and I bought my first home in this same neighborhood in 1992 and I still reside there! I graduated from West High at sixteen, went on to Friends University, and for decades I’ve served the heart of District 1 as a business owner, a neighborhood leader, and most importantly, a neighbor advocating for justice and dignity.
